SSC GD Answer Key 2026: Calculate Score & Expected Cut-Off Marks

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the provisional answer keys and candidate response sheets for the Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now download their response sheet from the official website ssc.gov.in by logging in with their registration credentials.

How to Download SSC GD Answer Key 2026

Follow these simple steps to download your response sheet:

  1. Go to the official website: ssc.gov.in.
  2. Click on the "Answer Key" tab on the homepage.
  3. Select the link for "Uploading of Tentative Answer Key along with Candidate Response Sheet - Constable (GD) 2026".
  4. Enter your Roll Number and Password (as per your admission certificate).
  5. Click Login. Your response sheet along with correct answers marked in green will be displayed.
  6. Download or print the PDF for mark calculation.

How to Calculate SSC GD 2026 Marks (Negative Marking Rules)

The SSC GD written exam consists of 80 questions carrying a total of 160 marks. Each correct answer awards 2 marks, while a negative mark is deducted for every incorrect attempt.

  • Total Questions: 80 questions (Reasoning: 20, General Knowledge: 20, Mathematics: 20, English/Hindi: 20).
  • Correct Answer: +2 Marks
  • Incorrect Answer: -0.25 Marks (standard GD negative marking is 0.25).

Scoring Formula:

Raw Score = (Number of Correct Answers × 2) - (Number of Incorrect Answers × 0.25)

Expected Category-Wise Cut-Off Marks 2026

Based on difficulty level, shift analysis, and negative marks calculated by thousands of candidates, the expected cut-off ranges for physical tests (PET/PST) are as follows:
